Music means a lot to a lot of people. In fact, there are very few people in this world that aren’t moved by music, or have little to no interest in it. However, in recent years, many of today’s youth have held music very close to their hearts, so much so that many of them thinking they are the be-all and end-all of musical taste.
But I digress… this isn’t a post rambling about how I’m sick of other people trying to force their preferences upon me or how I’m equally sick of the same people making themselves out to be the biggest music fans in the world – like no-one else likes music. Nope – this post is not about any of these things. It’s about a video game. A video game called Chime.
Well, what did you think? Looks pretty awesome to me. To be honest, I was thinking a new Tron just wouldn’t work. Turns out I may have been wrong. Hudson may be right.
Everybody loves zombies. Even people that say they don’t like zombies secretly love zombies. And that’s what makes PopCap Games’ latest so super special (see video above for proof of awesome)…
PopCap Games makes games. This might be obvious to some, but I thought I’d clarify. They’ve made some pretty well-known titles, including Bejeweled, Zuma, the almighty Peggle, and now, with the release of Plants vs Zombies, have really made their mark on the video game world (if they hadn’t already). I thought PopCap was pretty cool prior to the release of PvZ, now I think they are the shizNIT.
How many times have I watched TV recently and seen the same old rehashed crap? Beyond count. Beyond comprehension. Beyond Thunderdome (sorry). Even The Simpsons and Family Guy tend to borrow from each other these days (although South Park is still exceptionally awesome). Maybe you’re in the same boat, and are thinking there’s not enough originality on TV these days. Well… I’ve got a suggestion for you — it’s not for everyone, but if it clicks with you, you’ll LOVE it.
Metalocalypse has been around for a while — the second season has come and gone already — but it’s still somewhat in cult territory, due to its content, and this is for good reason. The themes explored by the show are often innocent, but this is in sharp contrast to the events that occur around these themes — murder, mayhem, and evil. This lends the show hilarity… with great success and little to no residual odour.
Generally, I don’t like posting videos about video games. For one, if you’re into games, you’ve got plenty of other places you can go to take a look. For two (is that how it goes — “for one”, “for two”, “for three”? Doesn’t sound right – but I’m damnwell going for it!), if the game turns out to be shit… well?
Anyway, this games has seriously blown me away, and I’m intrigued by the story and the style. Me wantee play…ee, so I popped the above up… I wasn’t going to, but I also put the rest below – so click through if you’re interested. Or not. Your choice! For reference, this is going to be released on PC, X360, and PS3. Be most enjoyment of it. Continue reading 'Dragon Age: Origins looks to be the bomb diggety'»
By now, you’ve possibly seen this – I’ve seen it on two sites I like to visit – but you might not have actually watched it. IT’s a time lapse video of Shinjuku in Tokyo, and it’s REALLY well done. I recommend giving it a quick watch. This was made by Samuel Cockedey but I found the video at the below link, originally. Nice.
