I was referring to the devices you could use - there is only 'one' iPhone, whereas the number of devices you can use Android on at the moment is in the double digits. However, you're right that if you want to move on from Android to yet another OS, you are just as locked in with regards to applications... I did kind of gloss over that, didn't I? Sure, with droit you aren't locked in to a particular hardware device but after spending money on apps you are just as locked in as your are with Apple. Other than that, great write up!
